About us
We are a Community Interest Company (CiC), and were founded in 2024.
The objectives of Yarm Bowling Club are to carry on activities which benefit the community of Yarm and surrounding areas; to provide opportunities for social activity, healthy exercise, and friendly competition through the participation in, and enjoyment of, lawn bowls.
The club will provide opportunities, and equipment as required, for beginners, and established bowlers, regardless of age, gender and ability.
Our Bowling Surface
We have an all weather green supplied by Tiger Turf UK, it is the SuperGreen 2.
Tiger Turf’s part sand filled SuperGreen surface provides bowlers with a true, consistent surface that can be used all year round.
We are situated to the South West of Yarm on the Morely Carr Estate. See Here

Mike Chapman Memorial Shield
The Commemorative Shield will be a two wood singles knock-out competition for members only. The intention is that everyone will play more than one game to reach the final, all of which will be played on the day. Arrive between 1.00pm and 1.15pm. The draw and start time is

Yorkshire Bowling Association return for a second year
The Yorkshire Bowling Association will be on the green on Sunday 19th April 2026 They have requested a return to Yarm for a second year for early practise and selection for the coming season. The green will be closed on 19th April
